What Have I Done today to make me feel proud?

Well I am embarking on a new mission in life. I have been busy this past year planning for a wedding. It takes a lot of time, money and commitment. Now I have a new plan. I want to be a Mom. I want to take some time before being a Mom in order to be a good Wife, but I know I want to be a Mom. Now, I'm not going to be a Mom in the shape/weight I am in right now. I need to lose weight before I can even think of being pregnant.

So this is my plan....I am doing a variation of the "Couch to 5k" Program. I have started walking to get my plan going and this is the second day so far! I am also desperately trying to eat better, eat more vegetables and more fruit!

I have also joined a group on Facebook called the "Biggest Loser Fundraiser". It is a great group for moral support and encouragement! Already it worked today since I didn't want to do my second walk and two wonderful ladies encouraged me to get going because I would feel better afterwards and they are absolutely right!! So once I get some figures about percentage lost or pounds shed I will post!!!!

  1. Tricia, I admire your decision. It is not an easy thing to do in the winter time, but I have faith that you can reach your goal! You are welcome to stop by and invite me for a walk if you want some company. God bless your desires! (I think being a mom is a great motivator!!)
